The ReactX foam was designed with a focus on performance and the planet. The carbon footprint of a pair of midsoles is reduced by at least 43% because less energy is required to produce them than the previous Nike React foam. The carbon footprint of ReactX is based on a cradle-to-gate assessment verified by PRé Sustainability B.V. and Intertek China. Other midsole components such as air elements, plates or other types of foam were not taken into account.
The Pegasus 41 has the same inner materials and cushioning as its predecessor and hugs your foot with an implemented midfoot strap to provide a more secure but forgiving feel. The midfoot strap provides a more pre-shaped fit on the foot that adapts to all arches.
