With the New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro v9, you are perfectly equipped to master challenging trails. The two-layer Fresh Foam X midsole offers the perfect balance of cushioning and stability. The upper layer is soft and ensures a high level of comfort, while the firmer lower layer gives you stability on uneven ground. The midsole also contains 3% bio-based material, which reduces the ecological footprint. The Vibram® Megagrip™ outsole with Traction Lug™ technology and revised tread pattern provides excellent grip, whether on wet or dry surfaces. This is perfectly complemented by Toe Protect technology, which protects your feet from stones, roots and dirt. Additional features such as a cast tongue for a secure fit and the breathable mesh synthetic upper make the Hierro v9 a comfortable and robust companion. With a 4 mm drop, it supports a natural running feel - ideal for technical trails and long distances.
