The New Balance 1080 v15 is the most comfortable running shoe New Balance has ever created. Designed as a versatile daily trainer, it is ideal for everyday runs, long distances, and recovery sessions. Its philosophy, “Expect the unexpected,” represents a fresh take on premium cushioning. The key innovation is the new Infinion Foam midsole. This nitrogen-infused TPEE foam delivers soft, plush cushioning with long-lasting energy return. Compared to the Fresh Foam X used in the 1080 v14, it is lighter and more responsive. A high stack height of 40 mm in the heel and 34 mm in the forefoot ensures excellent shock absorption. The ride feels smooth and comfortable from heel strike to toe-off. A wide platform provides inherent stability without interfering with natural motion. The New Balance 1080 v15 remains a true neutral road running shoe. It is perfectly suited for runners with high weekly mileage. The contoured mesh upper adapts naturally to the shape of the foot. Stretch laces enhance lockdown and overall fit. A padded tongue and heel collar increase comfort on long runs. Strategically placed rubber outsole segments improve grip and durability. They provide traction without adding unnecessary weight. At approximately 261 g in men’s US 9, the shoe stays lightweight for its category. The 1080 v15 also handles moderate tempo efforts with ease.
