That's where the first phase of HikePro® support kicks in: The high-performance cushioning element under the heel minimizes harmful vibrations during foot strike and actively protects against overloading. FIRM HOLD IN THE HIKING BOOT When walking downhill, the foot must not slide forward in the shoe. This creates the hiker's worst enemy: blisters. Thanks to our special anti-slip technology in the heel and anatomical support in the midfoot, the foot remains securely in the shoe even on the steepest downhill passages and friction on the sole is reduced.
