Most ultras have a problem: while they are very comfortable and well cushioned, they are often too heavy, not precise enough and rather sluggish in terms of running performance. But to make it to the podium, you need a shoe that gives you everything. In collaboration with the best ultra runners of the DYNAFIT athlete team, the new Ultra 100 GTX was therefore developed. The result: a shoe that perfectly masters the balancing act between comfort, traction and excellent energy return and brings you in best time over the finish line. Thanks to the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane, it is also the ideal shoe in rain and wet conditions.

Despite its maximum volume and the high standing height of more than 30 mm, the Ultra 100 convinces as a lively companion with excellent grip and precision from the first to the last kilometer. The drop of 6 mm corresponds to the preferences of ambitious ultra runners. For the sole, the developers rely on the Vibram® Megagrip compound, which is considered the measure of all things in competitive sports for maximum performance. The Ultra 100 GTX uses the new Vibram Traction Lugs for the first time.

The midsole is pleasantly cushioned for a springy running feel, but at the same time very light and reactive. The novel material weighs 20 percent less than a conventional EVA midsole, yet returns more than 10 percent energy.

The rocker shape of the sole guarantees a dynamic and fluid rolling behavior, which promises a flowing running feeling even on the last kilometers with heavy legs.
