The 11th anniversary of the GT-1000™ represents a big step forward in what this model stands for. Designed for runners with an active lifestyle looking for a lightweight running companion with good cushioning without sacrificing stability. The upper has been reworked with a newly developed mesh fabric and adapts to the natural shape of your foot, while offering comfortable support in the midfoot area. With the addition of an integrated support system, this application improves heel fit and creates a more secure feel. In keeping with a more sustainable design approach, fewer colors were used in the dyeing of the insole. The shoe features a layer of GEL™ technology cushioning in the heel to improve shock absorption, and also integrates a FLYTEFOAM™ midsole material to provide a softer and more supportive underfoot feel. Finally, the DUOMAX™ support system consists of a stronger foam density placed on the medial side of the midsole to reduce pronounced inward rotation of the foot (overpronation) while improving stability.
